The Scandinavian Festival has been somewhat of a tradition for the clubs of Denmark, Norway and Sweden since its inception in 2012. Now including the clubs of Finland, Estonia (and new additions this year: Latvia!), the Festival promises to showcase some excellent aspects of Nordic and Baltic culture in 2018 – BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP!
The Norwegian Club has historically run a waffle stall (mmmmm waffles!) with the help of our wonderful members – but this year’s attendance at the Festival is threatened because we haven’t had any volunteers step forward yet!
If you love Norwegian culture, waffles (I mean…who doesn’t??) and participating in a great event, we would love for you to volunteer at our stall – we promise it won’t be like the Hunger Games……obviously because there will be food… so no-one will go hungry 😉
Let us know via email or Facebook messenger by May 23 if you’d like to volunteer – even if you’re not yet a member of the Club – and we will let you know the next steps!
